James Fly earned his B.A. in journalism from Pacific Union College, Angwin, California. In his career, he has edited both church and college publications as well as two weekly newspapers. His book, Africa Adopted Us, is currently being reprinted by Pacific Press. A co-owner of A-Z's FreshAir Fare in downtown St. Joseph, MO., James writes a monthly health column for The Regular Joe. He graduated from the Institute for Integration in 2011 as a certified health coach. An avid photographer, he belongs to the Midwest Artists Association and is a founding member of Gallery 7, a cooperative art gallery in downtown St. Joseph. He is a member of the St. Joseph Writers Guild.
